Reviews of the Ramada Resort by Wyndham Puerto de Mazarron hotel

Second visit - first time in October 2008 room was in older part of hotel - clean but decor was looking a bit tired. March 2009 visit room was in the newer part of the hotel, and was very nice, clean and spacious room, good shower, lovely views room 226 - would request this part of the hotel if booking again. , easily 100 people if not more - therefore could not eat in the main area of the hotel dinning room , a section of dinning room for other guests was made available. Which was acceptable, however, because they were so busy we had to wait a long time for our evening meals, and on two occassions food was cold - we believe this was because they hotel staff were busy cattering for the larger party. Price was good - front reception staff very helpful - so on the whole would defintely recommend the hotel. Sandra and Peter Collins

Very friendly, impeccably clean establishment. Good sized rooms overlooking Puerto de Mazarron towards the sea on an elevated ridge. Continental breakfast is rather basic, restaurant food not recommended but there are plenty of restaurants in the main town to choose from. :D

We really were surprised at the comfort of this hotel for the 3* rating it has and the price. The breakfast was good. Didn\'t try the pool but it looked very clean. The only problem we had was the week we stayed 21st - 26th april the hotel was full of under 15 years football players. There was a local area competition and all the teams stayed at the hotel ie. Madrid, Catalunya, Barcelona etc. They were very noisy at night and not very well behaved. The adults that came with them were in the bar in the evening and the boys ran riot. It was a shame as it did spoil our stay somewhat but the hotel itself is brill and I will stay there again if I am in the area. :D
