What do guests think about this lodging establishment?
The accommodation received mixed reviews from guests. The cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds were appreciated. However, the lack of parking space and expensive parking fees were mentioned as negatives. There were issues with the Spa, including limited access times for children and inconsistent information from staff. Some guests described their experience as fantastic, while others simply liked the accommodation without providing further details. Positive aspects highlighted were the clean rooms and good service. The hotel's central location, friendly staff, and good breakfast were also praised. However, a few negative reviews mentioned noise issues and high prices for the quality offered. Some guests found the beds and pillows uncomfortable and felt that the cleanliness could be improved.

+ Breakfast is buffet style, above average, with fresh orange juice made on the spot and unlimited Nespresso coffes, as well as local specialties (not worth 12.50E, but great if included in the room rate)
+ Spa landscape well designed: Underground, 6 small pools for 2-8 persons each and 1 larger pool (some 8x8m). Lots of jets and bubbles, various temperatures. Large steam rooms, small sauna, quite good use of the limited space.
+ Some 2km away from the touristic center of the town, there is a feel of a real neighbourhood. Mini market at 100m (too small), supermarket at 400m (large)
- Economy very small room (bed plus 80cm on two sides), reasonably large bathroom. They offer on the spot higher category at a surcharge. Just one tiny garbage bin in the bathroom.
- "Free spa" comes with too many strings attached, which is frustrating for the customer, because we felt the nickel-and-dimed us: Only 10-12am (at least this is mentioned in the fine print of the travel contract). Not even mentioned until you are there: Mondays closed, visit only upon availability, and you must pay 3 per towel (you cannot use your hotel room towels) and 2 for flip flops (as well as 30 refundable deposits). The limits are soft though, when we insisted we got the towels free of charge. As hotel guest you pay 8 outside the "free" hours, which includes the towel, but not the flip-flops or soap.
Most importantly however, there is no soap or shampoo at the showers, you must buy at 0.40 each portion. Unbelievably, there are toilets within the spa area right next to the pools, but there is no soap to wash your hands after use! Shower upon entry is compulsory, but since no soap is provided most people shower with water only. We had serious doubts about hygiene, we didn\'t see any list of regular laboratory results. We wouldn\'t use the spa again.
- The reception staff never greeted, never smiled.

They canceled me due to Covid closure, said they would refund my money, but Hotels.com claims they are refusing. Although it could be Hotels.com that is the problem.

The hotel staff are nice, and it's situated close to the major attractions. However, I do expect a bit more from a 4 star hotel. The beds aren't very comfortable and the pillows are awful. The breakfast is just so-so. Basically, this is a box without char
