This historical city hotel lies close to the tourist centre with a selection of shops, restaurants and cafés located in the vicinity. In addition, the sea is 3 km away as are a selection of nightclubs. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot. The transfer time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes.
From the Airport / North: 'Aircoach' (Ballsbridge route) leaves every 15
minutes from outside the Dublin airport arrivals terminal. Take the
coach to the Lansdowne Road stop, close by Jury's Hotel. Walk down and
over the DART railway lines. The Stadium is on the left. Follow the road
around to the right, over the bridge, and the Mount Herbert Hotel at
Sandymount is on the right hand side.By car, follow signs for East Link
Toll Bridge (city centre). Soon after passing through the toll booths
turn right at t he roundabout. Continue to the next set of traffic
lights, facing 'Maxol' petrol/gas station. Travel straight across, down
Cranfield Place to junction. Turn left then right onto Newbridge Avenue.
Turn left at the mini roundabout and the Mount Herbert Hotel at
Sandymount is on the right. From DART Station (North and South Dublin):
Take the train to Lansdowne Road station. Turn right, walk past
Lansdowne Stadium (on the left hand side). Cross the Dodder Bridge. The
Mount Herbert Hotel at Sandymount is on the right.
